This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.

AZYS is offering Team Registration Options this Summer!

Available this Summer Season, your coach will be able to register your team as one registration to compete within a more competitive division!

Please consider registering your players as a team in an effort to keep them together - we cannot guarantee all coach and friend requests are honored unless a team is registered through a team registration.

• Register your team at one time to guarantee your players will stay together for the season!
• This enables the coach to keep the team together and register for your team's name and team color!
• Where available, your team is placed within a more competitive division to compete against other returning teams for the Championship Title!

We have several Game Day Location options for you to choose from this Summer Season:

• Gilbert & Chandler: 
  • Mesquite Junior High School
  • South Valley Junior High School
    • These locations will serve most of Gilbert and also Chandler families north of the 202.
• East Mesa:
  • ​Desert Ridge Junior High School
  • Gateway Polytechnic Academy
    • These locations will serve all east Mesa and many East Gilbert families.
• Central/North Mesa:
  • Taylor Junior High School
    • This location will serve North and Central Mesa
• Queen Creek & Chandler:
  • Newell Barney Junior High School
  • Payne Junior High School
    • These locations will host games for teams from Queen Creek, South Chandler and South Gilbert

Practice locations and times will be determined by the coach, AZYS does not provide practice facilities. All Coaches are parent volunteers. Teams are formed by the closest school chosen during registration.

​Covid-19

We understand that this has been difficult for everyone and we appreciate your patience and support through this unprecedented time!​ We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation and we do understand that many ​parents ​may have concerns!

The schools facilities rented by AZYS currently do require that we follow all current CDC and school district Covid-19 guidelines.

• The Spring Season does not require spectators to wear masks inside the buildings. Please refer to the current guidance in place as the polices may be updated throughout the season.
• Please continue to maintain socially distanced space as much as possible and practice proper hygiene during games and practices.

• $70-$75 - Early Registration (April 11 – ​May 2)
• $80-$85 - Registration (​May 3 – June 6)
• $90-$95 - Late Registration (​June 7 – June 28)

GAME DAY LOCATIONS:

• Gilbert & Chandler

AGE GROUPS:

• Basketball – 4-5, 6-7, 8-9*, 10-11*, 12-13*
• Volleyball – 7-9*, 10-11*, 12-14*

*This age division participants in a tournament

* We use your child's age on March 31, 2022 for division placement *

PRACTICE TIMES & LOCATIONS:

• All Coaches are parent volunteers. Practice times and locations are arranged at the coach's discretion. Each team practices when and where they choose. Practices are generally held outside.
• Each player is responsible for providing their own equipment; i.e., soccer ball, volleyball, basketball etc...
• *AZYS does not provide teams with practice locations

GAME PLAY FORMAT:

• Basketball – Tournament style (beginner to advanced), rec-style for younger divisions. Co-ed.
• Volleyball – Tournament style (beginner to advanced). Co-ed.

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED BY PARENTS:

• Basketball – mouthguard recommended, athletic shorts and shoes, basketball.
• Volleyball – knee pads, athletic shorts and shoes, volleyball.

Team Shirts  are provided to all players and must be worn in order to participate on game day.

Please view the rules for the appropriate sized ball needed for your player.

COACHES:

All Coaches are parent volunteer, we are always looking for coaches. Please consider volunteering to coach your child's team!

TRAVEL GAMES:

Many teams will play 1-2 away games during the season.  All games are in the East Valley.

REFUND POLICY:

Registration refunds may be issued if requested in writing BEFORE rosters are released, July 10, 2022

Processing Fees are non-refundable.

Credits may be issued once rosters are released if requested in writing BEFORE , July 30, 2022
